Bankimchandra Chattopadhyay

Bankimchandra was born on 27 June 1838. Bankimchandra published a newspaper called Sangbad Prabhakar published weekly. He began his literary career as a writer of verse. His first fiction was published in Rajmohan’s Wife. Durgeshnondini was his first Bengali famous writer and the first-ever novel in Bangla. This novel was published in 1865. He wrote many novels and many comic, satirical, scientific and critical treatises in Bengali.  Some of his book names are Durgeshnandini, Kapalkundala, Mrinalini, Vishabriksha, Indira, Jugalanguriya, Radharani, Chandrasekhar, Kamalakanter Daptar, Rajsimha, Anandamath, Devi Chaudhurani, Sitaram, Kamalakanta.

Manik Bandopadhyay

Bandopadhyay was born on 19 May 1908 in Dumka. His real name was Prabodh Kumar Bandhopaddhay. His ancestral home was Bikrampur, at Dhaka district. When he was in college, he publishes a story in the magazine Bichitra with this his journey begins in literature. He was well known Indian writer and novelist. He was a great person in 20th century Bangla literature. He produced many novels and a short story. His popular works are   Padma Nadir Majhi, and Putul Nacher Itikatha, Suburbia, and Chatushkone.

Kazi Nazrul Islam

Kazi Nazrul Islam was born on 24 May 1899. He was a renowned Bengali Famous writer, poet, musician and writer. His nickname was Rebel Poet called by people. Nazrul is a national poet of Bangladesh. He learned of poetry, drama, and literature from a theatrical group when he works there. He wrote and composed almost 4,000 songs. When he was 43, he was suffering from an unknown disease.  Nazrul with his family moved to Dhaka in 1972.  He died four years later.

Samaresh Basu

Samaresh was born on 11 December 1924. He was an Indian writer who basically write Bangla literature. He was awarded by Sahitya Akademi Award in B by Sahitya Akademi. When he was only 21, he wrote his first novel, called Nayanpurer Mati. Samaresh Basu is one of the major figures in Bengali fiction.  He was died in 1988 at the age of 63.

Rabindranath Tagore

He was born in 1861 at Kolkata. He was also known for his pen name called Bhanu Singha Thakur. He was also known by his sobriquets Gurudev, Kabiguru, and Biswakabi, poet, musician, and artist. He got a novel prize for his Gitanjali. In 1901 Tagore moved to Santiniketan to found an ashram with a The Mandir an experimental school, gardens, a library. Ashapoorna Devi

She was born on 8 January 1909 at Kolkata. She was also known as Asha Purna Devi. She was a great Bengali  Famous writer, novelist and poet. She got many awards for her great contribution of Bangla literature.  In 1976, she was awarded Jnanpith Award by the Government of India. Also got D.Litt. By the Universities of Jabalpur. Vishwa Bharati University honored her by providing Deshikottama in 1989. For her remarkable contribution as a novelist and short-story writer, the Sahitya Akademi gives her the highest honor, the Sahitya Akademi Fellowship, in 1994. Jibanananda Das

Jibanananda was born in 1899 at Barisal. He was a famous poet, writer, a novelist in the Bengali language. Jibanananda studied English literature at Presidency College, from Kolkata. He was known as Rupashi Banglar Kabi. He is considering one of the greatest poets in the Bengali language. Sukanta Bhattacharya

Sukanta was born in 1926 at Chittagong. He was a Bengali Famous writer poet and writer. He is also very famous for his poet. Sukanta was one of the great contributor of modern Bengali poetry. Satyajit Ray

Satyajit was born in 2 May 1921. He was a Bengali famous writer and Indian filmmaker, screenwriter, music composer, lyricist, and author. He was the greatest Bengali filmmakers of all time. He directed 36 films some of them are feature films, some are documentaries. Satyajit’s first film was Pather Panchali which was loved by most of the Bangali.

The rest of his films are Aparajito, Charulata, Mahanagar, Pratidwandi, Jana Aranya, etc. Satyajit Ray became the first Indian to receive an Honorary Academy Award in 1992 for his contribution to Bengali film. Muhammed Zafar Iqbal

Zafar Iqbal was born on 23 December 1952 in Sylhet, Bangladesh. He is a younger brother of a Humayun Ahmed, who was a great writer and filmmaker. After completing his PhD degree, he worked as a post-doctoral researcher at Caltech. He won Rotary SEED Award for his tremendous contribution in the field education. He started writing stories at a very early age. He wrote his first short story at the age of seven.

Humayun Ahmed

Humayun Ahmed was born in 13 November 1948. He was a multi talented Bangladeshi novelist, dramatist, screenwriter, filmmaker, and lecture. His mother name is Ayesha Foyez and his father, Foyzur Rahman.

He wrote many books in his lifetime, those books were always top-selling books in Bangladesh. His first creation was novel Nondito Noroke. The novel was published in 1972 by Khan Brother’s Publishers. He got massive success with his very first book. His second novel was Shonkhonil Karagar. Ahmed wrote fictional series and some strong character Himu series, Misir Ali 20 series and also Shubhro.

He wrote some stories based on the Bangladesh Liberation War those are Aguner Poroshmoni, Paap, 1971, Srabon Megher Din. He won many Awards for contribution to Bengali literature. Qazi Anwar Hussain

Qazi Anwar Hussain is a well-known and very famous Bengali writer. Anwar Hussain was born in 19 July 1936. He is a very popular among young and teens because of his fictional writing. He basically writes fictional detective and adventure based novels with full of thrill.  Qazi anwar Hossain born in very well of family.
